The Move-Out Cleaning Checklist for Spring Hill Sellers and Renters

Why move-out cleaning is different

An empty home shows everything. Once the furniture is gone, every scuff, dust line and forgotten corner is on display. Landlords inspecting for a deposit and buyers doing a final walkthrough both look closely, and Spring Hill has a lot of both with how quickly the area is growing.

Kitchen

Clean inside and outside every cabinet and drawer. Degrease the range hood and stovetop. Clean inside the oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, and pull the fridge out to clean behind and beneath it if you can. Scrub the sink and polish the faucet.

Bathrooms

Descale shower glass, tile and fixtures. Scrub grout, toilets inside and out, and the base of the toilet where it meets the floor. Clean inside vanities and medicine cabinets, and polish mirrors.

Every room

Wipe baseboards, door frames, doors and light switches. Dust ceiling fans and vents. Clean window sills and tracks. Vacuum closets and corners, then mop all hard floors on your way out of each room so nothing gets tracked back in.

Do not forget the garage, laundry room and the inside of the washer and dryer. They are easy to miss and easy to notice.
