Post-Construction Cleaning: What Williamson County Builders Should Expect
Rough clean, final clean and touch-ups. How a professional post-construction clean gets a home ready for handover.
Why it matters
Construction dust is fine, persistent and everywhere. It settles in cabinet interiors, on top of door frames, inside light fixtures and in window tracks. A client's first walkthrough of their new home should feel finished, and a proper post-construction clean is what makes that happen.
The rough clean
The rough clean happens once drywall, painting and most trades are done. Debris, packaging and large dust deposits are removed, floors are swept and vacuumed, and surfaces get a first pass. It clears the way for final fixtures and trim, and keeps dust from being sealed in.
The final clean
The final clean is detailed. We remove paint specks, adhesive residue and grout haze, clean every cabinet and drawer inside and out, wash windows, tracks and frames, polish fixtures and appliances, wipe every vent and light, and finish floors once protection is removed. The goal is a home that is ready to photograph and ready to hand over.
Touch-ups before handover
After punch-list work there is often a small amount of new dust. A quick touch-up visit before the client walkthrough catches it. We work around builder schedules across Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill and Columbia, and we are used to coordinating with superintendents on site.
